Read the pulse of any place on Earth.

Type a city, park, or coordinate. Habitat Pulse pulls live air quality, a short-term climate trend, and real species-occurrence records into one Habitat Health reading — built from public data, not a guess.

Sources: Open‑Meteo (weather & air quality) and GBIF (species records). No sign‑in, no key.

How this reading is built

  • Air quality (0–34 pts): current US AQI from Open‑Meteo, scaled — cleaner air scores higher.
  • Climate trend (0–33 pts): a linear regression fitted over the last 14 days of daily max temperature. Small day‑to‑day drift scores higher than a steep warming or cooling trend, which signals instability for local species.
  • Biodiversity (0–33 pts): count of distinct species recorded within 50km on GBIF over the last 10 years (sampled up to 300 occurrence records), plus a flag for any record carrying an IUCN threatened‑species status in that sample.

This is a transparent composite index, not a certified environmental assessment — every number shown is traceable back to its public source.
